Adobe Spark for Education
I’m a HUGE fan of Adobe Spark and was thrilled when they announced education logins that would allow teachers to use this amazing tool with minors. As if that wasn’t fabulous enough, education accounts are granted the full Premium feature set and a safe image search built into the tools. For those new to Adobe Spark, is a collection of three, free, web-based creation tools, that work on any device type:
- Video: Hands-down, the most user-friendly video creation tool on the web! The best thing about Spark Video is that each slide is an independent voice recording which makes editing incredibly simple.
- Page: Simple, beautiful, web-page creation tool. Perfect solution for creating informational flyers for students to show their content knowledge.
- Post: Design and customize graphics. Use alone or in combination with other Spark tools.
Get Inspired to Create with Adobe Spark
For examples of Adobe Spark’s creative power, check out their Education Gallery. I’ve used Spark with students in grades 1 through 12. Check out THIS post with social stories created by elementary students.
Spark is an all-in-one creation platform. Save valuable class time using Spark’s built in, searchable library of Creative Commons licensed images and icons. Selecting background music to suit your video is quick and easy to do with Spark’s pre-assembled collection sorted by mood. What more do you need?
Set Up & Login Instructions for Students
Adobe Spark for Education requires some administrative set up to get going. Click HERE for information on set up. Administrators create accounts using your school’s Single Sign On (SSO) tool, such as Active Directory, Google or Office 365, making it easy for kids to remember their logins. The process kids have to follow to sign into the Education (Enterprise) accounts, is a bit cumbersome, so I created THESE sign in instructions.
