Podcasts are one of my favorite forms of professional development! Make your long commute go by quickly and invest in your own learning, just by listening! Because podcasts can be enjoyed, anytime, anywhere, they are a great option for busy educators. Get started by choosing a Podcast Manager and add some high-quality education-focused podcasts to your library.
Choose a Podcast Manager
Podcast managers allow you to search for and subscribe to podcasts. New episodes are downloaded automatically and your feeds can be organized into topic groups. Here are some apps for your Smartphone:
- Castbox or BeyondPod or Pocketcasts for Android devices
- Overcast or iTunes or Pocketcasts for iPhones.
In addition to your smartphone, you can also stream from your smart speaker, such as Amazon Echo or Alex.
